The Director of Development and Planning serves as the City Zoning Officer and, as such, provides staff support to the City Zoning Board of Appeals and works with the City Planning Commission to regulate land development through the City Subdivision Regulations, and through site plan reviews. The Planning Commission also administers the City's Historic Zoning Ordinance, and processes requests for Special Use Permits.
